For Now is an unfolding album written for the Internet (art by David Titterington)
The final track of Part II is dedicated to Action for Children. Previously known as the National Children’s Home, this charity ran the orphanage in Whitby, Yorkshire, that took in my grandad, Lawrence Kidd, in the 1920s.
Track 9: For Love, Labour, Loss, weaves some of my memories of Lawrence together - a mixture of nostalgia, joy and sadness on his passing. The song features two amazing instrumentalists: Laetitia Stott as melodious French Horn and Stephanie Oatridge as lyrical Oboe.

Direct, energizing, but also deeply thoughtful, these ‘songs without words’ are drawn from experiences mundane & intense - written as a companion for both activity and reflection.
Blending acoustic timbres with electronic impulses, these bold new sounds are unleashed to the Internet in the form of weekly releases on or Amazon MP3.
