Cellosampler - ‘cello and electronics - was written for the Aldeburgh Festival 2008 and premiered at the Faster Than Sound event, Bentwaters Airbase, by 'cellist Olly Coates.

Pitting man against machine, Cellosampler traps the soloist in rhythm-machines of sampled 'cello - each inspiring bolder, more hysterical melodies.
